On the morning of October 11, the Guangzhou Institute of Technology and the Guangdong Professional Managers Association's industry-university-research delegation visited the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on topics such as industry-university-research-application cooperation and the integration of industry and education. At the meeting, a number of school-enterprise cooperation signing ceremonies were held: Chairman Zheng Hanming was hired as a guest tutor of the Guangzhou Institute of Technology and a consultant tutor for the "Hundreds of Millions of Projects" million public welfare professional managers; the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank Research Institute and the Guangzhou Institute of Technology jointly built an off-campus practice base; at the same time, the Guangzhou Institute of Technology and the Guangdong Professional Managers Association officially joined the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank Overseas Alliance.
Chairman Zheng Hanming warmly welcomed the industry-university-research delegation and emphasized the importance of technology application, pointing out that this "industry-university-research-application" exchange meeting is of great significance. He briefly introduced that the Overseas Chinese Fair relies on the international community of overseas Chinese to build two core platforms of industrial transaction services and foreign trade export services to promote global cross-border cooperation and transactions. It is suggested that in the future, cooperation with schools will be deepened through research projects or training projects to help more companies achieve their "going global" goals.
Xun Haipeng, dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Guangzhou Institute of Technology, emphasized the key role of industry-education integration in cultivating innovative talents, and focused on the school's efforts in this regard. He mentioned that the school has actively carried out social practice through an open school-running model and established close cooperative relations with industries and enterprises. This cooperation with the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank to jointly establish an off-campus practice base is a vivid embodiment of deepening the industry-university-research-application cooperation model, and jointly promoting talent training and innovation and entrepreneurship.
Xie Xiaoxia, president of the Guangdong Professional Managers Association, said that the association's cooperation with universities and enterprises has injected new vitality into the training of professional managers and industrial development. He called on all parties to strengthen cooperation, explore more innovative models, and provide all-round support for the international development of Chinese companies.
