On June 25, led by Mr. Wang Zhizhong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Beijing Xicheng District CPPCC, a delegation of the Beijing Xicheng District CPPCC visited the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank Research Institute for research and exchanges, aiming to deepen the understanding of the work of the Overseas Chinese Think Tank and explore cooperation opportunities in serving overseas Chinese and promoting corporate development. The research group visited the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank Research Institute and watched the promotional video, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the development history, research direction and achievements of the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank. Executive Secretary-General Yin Shujuan introduced in detail the empirical research results of the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank, the "Overseas Chinese Trade Fair", especially the observations of the Overseas Chinese Trade Fair's 10-year series of exhibitions at home and abroad, and the trend of enterprises going overseas.
Deputy Secretary Wang Zhizhong delivered a speech at the meeting, affirming the innovative model of the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank in promoting the development of the "Belt and Road" strategy and the work of the Overseas Chinese Road, and expressed appreciation for the achievements of the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank in serving overseas Chinese and promoting the international development of enterprises. At the same time, he clearly pointed out that Xicheng District of Beijing has rich overseas Chinese resources and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, which has laid a solid foundation for further exchanges and cooperation. The main purpose of this investigation is to learn Shenzhen's advanced concepts and methods in serving overseas Chinese, in order to bring these experiences back to Beijing, better utilize overseas Chinese resources, and help the high-quality development of the local economy.
During the free exchange session, the Xicheng District CPPCC of Beijing and the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank had an in-depth discussion, and the two sides exchanged views on how to better utilize overseas Chinese resources, serve Chinese enterprises "going out" and overseas Chinese enterprises "coming in". During the discussion, both sides expressed a strong desire to strengthen cooperation and jointly promote the development of overseas Chinese in multiple fields such as economy and culture, which will not only provide more support and opportunities for overseas Chinese around the world, but also open up new paths for promoting economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad.
