On July 2, the Overseas Chinese Business Think Tank Research Institute and the Overseas Chinese Trade Fair, along with the Vietnam Guangdong Chamber of Commerce, accompanied a delegation from the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese to visit the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City, where they were warmly received by Consul General Wei Huaxiang.

Consul General Wei introduced in detail the latest progress of cooperation between China and Vietnam in the fields of economy, trade and culture in recent years, as well as the ideas and practices of the Consulate General in promoting chambers of commerce in Vietnam to play a role of unity and bond, integrate resources and serve member companies.

As a supporting unit of the exhibition, President Xu Fengpei of the Vietnam Guangdong Chamber of Commerce invited Consul General Wei Huaxiang to attend the opening ceremony of the Second Overseas Chinese Trade Fair (Vietnam) Smart Technology Exhibition to help Chinese and Vietnamese companies cooperate and communicate.
Afterwards, the delegation visited the three major halls of Ho Chi Minh City Suicheng Hall, Ho Chi Minh City Chaozhou Yi'an Hall, Ho Chi Minh City Chongzheng Hall, and the Vietnamese overseas Chinese leader, Mr. Zhu Yingchang, Chairman of Yichang Company.

On July 2, the Guangdong Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation delegation visited Mr. Zhu Yingchang, a well-known Chinese in Vietnam and chairman of Yichang Company. The two sides enhanced friendship and promoted cooperation through exchanges.

Mr. Zhu Yingchang is a leader of overseas Chinese in Vietnam and a famous Chinese entrepreneur. His ancestral home is Dongguan. In 1986, when Vietnam began its reform and opening up, he had a unique vision and established Yichang, which opened up the famous name of Chinese engaged in antique furniture in Vietnam.

Mr. Zhu Yingchang has long been enthusiastic about the public welfare of Chinese people and has worked hard to maintain and promote the cause of China-Vietnam friendship. He is also the honorary chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation of Hengli Town, the vice chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Chinese Center Auxiliary Association, and the vice chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam-China Friendship Association.
